He is currently Director of Bio Medical Sciences & Regenerative Medicine at one of the nation's leading Regenerative Medicine Centers (RMC). Having grown up in India and educated in the UK, he received his MS at the Royal College of Surgeons and his PhD at the University of London. Upon starting his career as a surgeon, he met Dr. John Vane, a Nobel Peace Prize winner (1982), who convinced him to go into bio pharmaceutical research. Working under Dr. Vane, he was part of the team that developed Zovirax, the first anti-herpes medicine. He has over 200 peer reviewed publications in and is currently one of the leading experts in Stem Cell Technology and Regenerative Medicine.
Optima Life is guided by Dr. Kshamica Nimalasuriya, a Preventive Medicine Physician with an expertise in Public Health and clinical proficiency in Ayurvedic and Natural Wellness Programs. She completed her post-doctoral fellowship in Preventive Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia - USA, and also holds a Masters Degree in Public Health - Nutrition from The University of California - Los Angeles.
